Approach

If we are in touch with our bodies, thoughts and feelings, we are more aware of who we are and what we do in the world, whether in personal relationships, business or learning. If we apply this approach to speaking confidently, being aware of what our body is doing and how we are feeling is key.

I use this mindful approach as the basis for teaching pronunciation, combined with a deep commitment to respecting the beautiful diversity of accents worldwide. Senses like eyes, ears and touch help a person to really see, listen and feel the sounds they make. And the inner sense, that comes from being mindful, helps all of us to develop confidence and clarity of our own voice.

Understanding means throwing away your knowledge.
